Company History

Southwest Galvanizing is a privately owned and operated company. It was incorporated in 1966 to meet the needs of the Hot Dip Galvanizing industry in the Southeast Texas Region.

The commitment to quality and customer service led to rapid growth. Initially, our facility consisted of a 440 sq. ft. building with a 30-ft and 14-ft kettle. With the growing demand for larger galvanizing capabilities in the '70's, we expanded our building to accommodate a 42-ft and a 32-ft kettle. We now have five bridge cranes that run the complete length of our facility and a monorail crane on each kettle operation.

We expanded our services to include sandblasting and metalizing to accommodate our customers needs. In 1979, we opened an additional galvanizing facility in San Antonio that operates under the same guidelines as our Houston facility and has a 14-ft and 42-ft kettle.

To accommodate the growth of our industry, in 2007, we introduced a new, deeper 45' kettle which replaced the 32' kettle. We have maintained our reputation as a leader in the galvanizing industry and continue to exceed our clients' expectations for production and service.
