THE GALVANIZING PROCESS
Corrosion protection is a necessity for fabricated iron and steel metals. During the galvanizing process molten zinc reacts with the surface of the base material to form an inner layer of protection against corrosion. The standard coating has a typical life of anywhere from ten to twenty-five years in urban environments to more than fifty years in rural conditions. We adhere to ASTM Specifications.
